We love the smell of the new generation in the morning. Ricardo arrived to create more confusion for our family. While his jazz background provides a rich tapestry of sounds and tons of dynamics in a world where this isn't strictly necessary, his love of hip hop, skate culture, and other influences that usually aren't part of the pallet of electronic music bring a breath of fresh air into our humble house.

From a song that celebrates meeting friends at the beginning of a party (Som Tipo 2235 No Role) to a fitting tribute to Old Dirty Bastard (Old Dirty Ric), Ricardo is speaking at lengths in every single track... Even if he's not saying a single word! In a record with such a diversity of themes and sounds, there's unity in this album, something that is unusual nowadays: this isn't a collection of "tracks". A proper statement with a beginning and end, this record tells a story.

Nós amamos o o cheiro da nova geração na manhã. Chegando para criar confusão, Ricardo é o mais novo membro da nossa família. Enquanto que suas origens no jazz cria uma rica base de sons e dinâmicas em um mundo onde isso não é necessariamente a regra, seu amor pelo hip hop, cultural do skate e outras influências que não fazem parte do dia a dia da música eletrônica, trazem um sopro de vida para nossa humilde casa.

De uma faixa que celebra o encontro com amigos no começo de uma festa ( Som Tipo 2235 No Rolê) até um tributo emocionado ao Old Dirty Bastard (Old Dirty Ric), Ricando fala como uma matraca em cada faixa... Mesmo que em todos os casos, estamos falando de instrumentais. Em um disco com tanta diversidade de temas e sons, existe uma unidade neste álbum, algo que é raro nos dias de hoje: esta não é uma coleção de "tracks". Uma declaração de intenções, com começo e fim, este disco conta uma história.
